Your car already has CarPlay or Android Auto. The problem is the cable: you pull your phone out of your pocket, untangle the lead, plug it in, and reverse the whole ritual every time you leave. This adapter removes that step permanently. Plug it into the USB port your car already uses for wired CarPlay or Android Auto, pair once, and from then on your phone connects on its own — wirelessly, in about the time it takes to buckle up.
Everything you use CarPlay or Android Auto for works exactly as before: maps, music, messages, calls, Siri and Google Assistant. The interface on your dashboard does not change, because this adapter does not replace your car's system — it simply makes the connection wireless.
The adapter measures 76 x 43 x 12.3 mm and weighs 35 grams, so it tucks into a centre console, a glovebox or a coin tray without taking the port hostage. A single LED shows connection status at a glance. The housing is PC+ABS in black with a CD-pattern textured finish, built to handle heat, cold and daily handling in a car.
The USB-C female port on the unit, together with the two supplied data cables, means it fits cars with either a USB-A or a USB-C port. Both cables are 300 mm long — long enough to reach, short enough not to dangle across your gear stick.
This is the part most cheap adapters get wrong. Because the adapter works with your car's existing system rather than replacing it, everything you already rely on keeps working:
Your car must already have factory wired CarPlay or factory wired Android Auto. This adapter converts a wired connection to a wireless one; it does not add CarPlay or Android Auto to a car that does not have it.
Phone requirements:
Because the adapter works through the car's original system, it is compatible across makes and model years rather than being tied to one vehicle. If your car supports wired CarPlay or wired Android Auto and your phone meets the requirements above, it will work.

Will this work in my car? It works in any car that already has factory wired CarPlay or factory wired Android Auto. It does not add CarPlay to a car without it. If you can currently use CarPlay by plugging your phone in with a cable, this adapter will make that connection wireless.
Do I need to set it up every time I drive? No. You pair once. After that the connection is automatic — start the car and your phone connects on its own.
Which phones are supported? iPhone 6 or newer running iOS 10 or later, and Android phones running Android 11.0 or later.
Will my steering wheel buttons and car microphone still work? Yes. The adapter works through your car's original system, so buttons, knobs, touchpad and the factory microphone all keep working with unchanged sound quality.
Does it change the way CarPlay looks on my screen? No. The output resolution is adaptive and maintains your car's original protocol resolution, so the interface looks exactly as it did with the cable.
What if my car has a USB-C port instead of USB-A? Both cables are included — USB-A to USB-C and USB-C to USB-C — so either port type is covered.
